
Carmen M. Hamper
Carmen Hamper (she/her/hers) is an attorney and Guardian ad Litem practicing in Northeast Ohio. She brings a unique trauma-informed approach to the law and is passionate about justice, both in the courtroom and in her community. She graduated magna cum laude from Ohio Northern University with a J.D. and an LL.M. in Democratic Governance and Rule of Law in 2014. She received the Public Interest/Pro Bono Award in recognition of her outstanding service to the community as a law student. She graduated summa cum laude from Butler University with a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish in 2011.
Carmen spends time volunteering as a trustee for community organizations, mentoring, engaging in legislative advocacy, and providing pro bono representation to non-profits and individuals. She provides trainings on human trafficking and child abuse for professionals, community groups, and students of all ages. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, reading, singing, and making good food to share.
